This week has been a grind.
Sickness ran through the house.
Projects hit roadblocks.
Running multiple businesses felt like trying to sprint through mud.
The kind of week where even small wins felt like a battle.
But here’s the thing… sometimes, just showing up is the hardest part.
This past Thursday, I guest lectured for a Marketing class at RCBC (Rowan College at Burlington County). Thanks to Dan Summers for having me!
We talked about social media, branding, and how consistency is what builds businesses.
But the biggest challenge?
Not the strategy, not the tactics—just showing up.
And this isn’t just about marketing. It’s about business, creativity, and life.
Some weeks, momentum is on your side. Other weeks, it feels like you’re walking through wet cement.
This was one of those weeks.
So here’s what I’m reminding myself of, and maybe it’ll help you too:
Momentum isn’t linear. Progress sometimes looks like a mess before it makes sense.
Small wins still count. Even if it’s just showing up and handling what you can. Not everything needs to be a herculean lift.
Rest isn’t quitting. If you’re sick, tired, or burnt out, take the damn break. You brain, body, and family will thank you.
